There is still the vampires that are screwing with the empire and dwarfs but are currently cowering in the mountains probably gonna get wiped out soon Since i mostly raze everything it gets retaken eventually by the ai & my forest is too well defended for any body to level it. Only problem is amber if ya want a pretty tree and lots of elites units XDĭuring my mid game i just allied with dwarfs- empire - lothern & some random other factions and was able to get all the amber i needed and more Thats where wood elves dont have any problems since only athel loren has the proper building tree & the one minor WE faction way down south called orions hunters or somethingĮverything else u basically get the T1 of a present resourse (iron, gold, docks etc), An outpost of a sort & 1 out of 4 buildings so really there isnt any province management other than the occasional rebellion I find as with some other people that mid-late game ME is a bit of a slog especially with all the province management. So long as its fun thats the important thing. Its been quite a fun game had armies consisting of only dyrads, treekin, treeman going around raiding an razing like a feral horde & making calvary/flying armies that just kite and troll everything The list of changes goes on for quite a while, so if you're interested in all of the specifics you will find the full patch notes over at the official website.īut wait, there's more! In celebration of their 30th anniversary Creative Assembly is also adding 30 new Regiments of Renown - powerful and unique units for the Beastmen, Bretonnia, Chaos Warriors, Norsca, and Wood Elves factions! If you're wondering what they look like, or what their improved abilities and stats are all about, you'll find what you seek over here.Originally posted by Stairs:i have Durthu/wood elf ME campaign still going at around turn 313 i think. Many of the fairly generic Legendary Lords such as Kemmler and Karl Franz have received new skill trees and faction-wide effects to spice up the gameplay, while units such as the Minotaurs, Dwarf Cannons and Bolt Throwers got some much-deserved buffs so you might even see them in multiplayer now. Furthermore, Chaos will now replenish their forces more quickly and will be able to subjugate Norscans more easily, which should make their campaign less about constant waiting and more about constant bloodshed - just as the blood god demands it! For example, the Empire AI will now start with the entire Reikland province which should ensure they actually reach the end-game and become a faction as powerful as they are in the lore. For those of you that don't feel like spending any money, worry not as Norsca will still be a part of multiplayer and the Grand Campaign, so you'll have plenty of chances to secure yourself a genuine mammoth hide rug!īesides the paid DLC, this update has also brought with it an absolutely gigantic list of changes, addressing pretty much all of the community complaints. If you preorder or purchase Total War: Warhammer 2 within the first week of launch you will be given Norsca for free, though it can also be bought as a standalone DLC. After multiple weeks of teasers and previews Total War: Warhammer's long-awaited demonic vikings have now finally arrived.
